Every ZeroScale chemical carries a code that tells you what it is at a glance. ZS is the ZeroScale chemical division. The middle letters give the product line — RO for reverse osmosis, BO for boiler, CT for cooling tower. The number is the product within that line, running from 101, 201 and 301 respectively.
So ZS-RO-101 is the first RO plant chemical, ZS-BO-204 is the fourth boiler chemical, and so on. Quote the code when ordering and there is no ambiguity about which product or pack you need.
Antiscalant runs continuously. SMBS is needed wherever feed water carries chlorine. Keep both CIP cleaners in stock for scheduled cleaning, and biocide for shutdowns.
Oxygen scavenger and sludge conditioner run continuously, with alkalinity builder holding boiler water chemistry. Add condensate inhibitor wherever condensate is returned.
Scale and corrosion inhibitor runs continuously. Oxidising biocide gives routine microbial control, alternated with non-oxidising shock doses, plus algaecide for open basins.
